The brief for this four bedroom house, with spacious loft room, was to create a warm and welcoming home for a young family. The property was given a complete transformation by our refurbishment team and it was of importance to the client that the interior complemented the light, open living areas using the furniture as the definition of each space. We were asked to pay special attention to not only the family’s needs but also the personality of both the parents and children thus creating a bold, monochromatic scheme for the basement area with a vibrant red sofa to create a fun and comfortable space for all of the family – a bold contrast to the soft, luxurious look of the formal lounge and media room. For the children’s rooms feature wallpapers were carefully chosen to reflect their current interests whilst achieving a style that can grow with them over the years. This modern family home now integrates function and aesthetic beautifully.
